We celebrated Chinese New Year (the year of the tiger) with lantern making, drinks and music. A lot of fortune cookies were also involved. Our incredible Yiran from YI Crafts hosted a traditional woodblock printing workshop for our members.
As a member of the Bai ethnic minority from Southwestern China, Yiran is interested in the conservation of ethnic minority handcraft techniques, and combining traditional handcrafted textiles into our daily lives. Find out more about her here.
