Back in November, we posted about how our members Liying (known as Ling, founder of UK Creativelab, consultancy and brand management for emerging talent in the fashion industry) and I.DEA PR had collaborated to support De Fichier in launching their brand. Read the full story here. Just four months later, De Fichier is going from strength to strength.
Anyone who has visited our space knows that collaboration is a core value of ours at WorkShop. That’s why it’s been a joy to see so many WorkShop members applying their skills and expertise to the De Fichier project over the last few months. Especially in the lead-up to London Fashion week, there’s been a real buzz in the air. It’s exactly that fast-paced creative energy that we’re all about!
Our talented member Bruno Ferdinand, an art director (read his spotlight here) has been working with Ling and the De Fichier team to develop the sleek visual identity of the brand. He’s also been busy designing the De Fichier website, which is now live.
I.DEA PR has continued to represent De Fichier in their showroom at WorkShop. They’ve also been instrumental in producing the De Fichier Episode Two show earlier this month at London Fashion Week. Another WorkShop member Yoav Picherski (spotlight here) was there on the night photographing the models catwalk and backstage. Lots of members were there supporting their WorkShop colleagues.
It’s projects like this that remind us why creative spaces like ours are so important. Especially in a post-pandemic world, it’s wonderful to see the opportunities for collaboration that spring out of a bunch of talented creatives sharing a space altogether.
